Station One, Puchong Jaya

What's with all the Station One Restaurants popping up all over KL? They're everywhere. There's two in Puchong alone! The one we tried was the new branch at Puchong Jaya. It's located on the row of shops behind Maybank, facing away from the main road. The other Puchong branch is in Bandar Puteri Puchong. I have not heard many good things about this place but curiosity got the better of me.

Fish and Chips (RM9.80).

Chicken Chop (RM9.80).

This is going to be a really short post because I have nothing good to say about them. What we ate that night was tasteless, bland and uninteresting. They are like those road side Western food stalls that were suddenly popular a few years back with the difference being that their decor is much better. To be fair they offer a lot more than Western food. They also deal in Asian food which means noodles and rice dishes which we didn't try. However after the experience with their Western food I don't think I'll want to go back for more.

Can anyone please tell me why Station One restaurants are usually so packed???

haha...i wonder why they are so packed too. Personally i visted them twice and their food really sucks! But, no doubt my two dining expereince was served well. They have good customer service, nice environment, and a good backgroud music. Further more, i observed lots of ah beng n ah lian like to hang out there just for a "super sweet" and fancy blended drinks.Further more, they have wireless which become one of the attraction as well.

earl-ku: yeah lor... no taste ppl :P

honey-star: you're probably right... it's probably cheaper than hanging out at starbucks (but only slightly cheaper).

jackson: one thing i must commend them is that they hired so many staff! In fact they have so many that most of them are just at the counter chit chatting.

going to station one has become a social event, that's why. it's the starbucks/coffeebean of the more chinese-educated crowd.
