In case you haven't yet found these pictures... they are those of Proton's newest models. The SRM (Satria Replacement Model) in the first 5 pictures should be out before the end of the year whilst the TRM (Tiara Replacement Model) should be out early next year.
Aren't they good looking cars? I think the SRM is a really hot looking car. However I'll prefer to keep my enthutiasm curbed. After all IT IS A PROTON! While it may look good the materials used to make the car will probably be sub standard and furnished with a toy plastic interior. Sigh...
I still very much think the Picanto is a better car.

Don't see much improvement actually. Old Satria looks better. Just like old Wira and old Iswara. Oh well, at least Tiara's getting an upgrade. :)

Probably they will now use volkswagen engines from VW Polo or VW Lupo. I see the future Perdana with VW Passat's platform or Audi A4.

TRM to be fitted with TipTronic gearbox? hmmm... doubtful. If the car costs more than RM40k I doubt anyone would buy it. In fact if it's not in the high RM20k to low RM30k range it's damn overpriced!

Wow! I think it's well done to Proton first. However the same question that most M'sians ask prevails......."Is the qualitiy of any good", "is there any problem with Proton Cars?".

Actually when the model will be launched? Is Proton having problem to set price?

I've a realiable source that the SRM is using 2.0 CAMpro engine. Also it seems that they are developing the 2.0 CAMpro with turbo for the motorsport.

A very reliable source of mine has personally tested the SRM. It is using the latest 2 litre CAMPRO engine with VW's innovative DSG gearbox.
Built quality for upcoming protons will be much much better and comparable to VW's. Heard that VW has insisted that they control quality.

I guess you must be referring to something akin to the Satri Gti version of the SRM. Sounds cool though. Hope they don't fudge it up. I'm gonna do a Google for DSG :)

Read in one UK magazine that the WAJA has better ride and handling that the previous Golf, now I know why VW wants a piece of proton.
